Casting Call: 1st or 2nd AD (Assistant Director) For a no-budget, mid-length spy movie, we are looking for a 1st or 2nd AD. Planned Shooting Dates: June – July 2026. Length: 30+ Minutes Logline: Cole is a young man in his 30s operating as a spy working for the Agency. His next mission is to use any means necessary to get closer to Anton, who has an ulterior motive in the heart of Europe, Berlin. Role: 1st or 2nd AD About the Role: As a 1st or 2nd AD, we are looking for someone who will help the director with both creative and organizational duties, such as contributing ideas about scenes, planning the filming, communicating with the crew, taking notes, and making sure everything is on time. The most important part for this role is to be able to balance being sweet and tough and having a positive mindset; as things could get stressful, we want someone who can not only push people when we are behind on time but is also able to keep things relaxed and lower the tension when things get stressful. Production Note: This movie is a passion project that comes from my heart. We are aiming for a Spectre (2015) or Tenet (2020) style vibe. I already have experience and have made a couple of films with this crew. The most important thing is finding friendly people, because we like working in an efficient and professional environment while keeping it friendly and positive.
